Minor operations

If you have a simple skin lump which is causing you problems, it may well be possible to remove it here at the surgery - Dr Gibbs does a minor op session on a Tuesday afternoon. Please see her in an ordinary surgery appointment first - so it can be decided if it is possible to do the operation here, or not.

Sometimes it is possible to remove spots or lumps by freezing with liquid nitrogen; this includes most warts.

As with the rest of the NHS, benign lumps cannot be removed simply for cosmetic reasons as this is not funded by the government.
