Back Pain

Sudden low back pain can be very painful but usually settles quickly. Take strong painkillers (such as Solpadine) and rest for 24 hours. Consult the doctor if the pain persists for more than a few days or if you have other symptoms, such as weakness in the legs, or difficulty going to the toilet.
